Boomwhacker Extravaganza (BE)
Think of Boomwhackers as plastic handbells! Have fun practicing at home and during Zoom classes with your friends as you work together to present a live, socially-distant, outdoor concert.

About the event
Cost: $25 per student/per 10-week session / Discount for multiple students in a family $20 per student /per 10-week session
In this class will be practicing a variety of music from different genres together weekly on a Zoom lesson (songbook provided by instructor and passed out at the Welcome Back! Drive Thru event). Each student will also be expected to practice on their own time. Monthly (Sept, Oct, & Nov), this group will strive to meet in-person for socially-distant outdoor rehearsals on Wednesday mornings. The dates, times, and locations of outdoor rehearsals will be provided upon completion of registration for this class. Everyone will be working hard to prepare for a live, socially-distant, outdoor concert at First Baptist Church of Beltsville (Date and time are still TBD). Students will receive their boomwhacker notes/tubes at the Welcome Back! Drive Thru event that can be "checked-out" from the CACHG supply. Families may also purchase an octave for themselves (www.boomwhackers.com) for $24.98.
